About GRANT BENTON

Singer, songwriter and producer Grant Benton’s journey in music started early, with a deep love for the songs his parents would play around the house. Though they didn’t play instruments themselves, their passion for music had a huge influence on him. By age 12, Grant began learning piano, and before long, he was writing his own songs. A member of the school choir and a self-taught songwriter, he quickly discovered his passion for both singing and composing.​ Grant’s sound blends Pop and Adult Contemporary influences, drawing inspiration from legendary artists like George Michael, The Beatles, Tom Jones, and Barry Manilow. He believes that music has the power to bring joy and warmth to people’s lives, and that’s exactly what he aims to do with every song he creates.​Though primarily a solo artist, Grant works with session musicians from all over the world, adding unique elements to his recordings. He often likes working with a 40-piece orchestra, which always brings a new depth to his songs.  Grant’s creative journey is fuelled by his dedication to his craft and his independent spirit. With two cover songs on the horizon and plans for monthly releases of his original songs, he’s always exploring new ways to share his evolving sound. As he continues to grow as an artist, Grant is focused on creating authentic music that resonates with listeners, bringing them into his world with every song he writes.
